Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are targeting an attacker to help lift them to title win
Paris Saint Germain will target an attacker in the summer transfer window, according to the club’s sporting director.
In a press conference today, Louis Saha revealed that they are monitoring Monaco midfielder Jean-Marc Pique, who has been linked with a move to Ligue 2 champions Paris St-Gémez, who have not won a league game since December.
“We have made our approach to him and will try to persuade him to join us,” said Saha.
“He’s a great player, a great midfielder, and we will see how things play out.”
If we’re able to convince him, we will then try to negotiate a transfer.
“Saha confirmed that the club have already secured a loan deal with Paris Saint Germain for their Under-21 player, who will then move on to the French Ligue side in the coming weeks.”
Jean-Marc has been in France for a few weeks and is now at the club.
He will be able to join them on the road,” added Saha, who said the midfielder had signed a five-year contract.
Paris Saint-Gaillard are currently ninth in Ligue1 and sit one point behind second-placed Lyon.
Paris Saint Germains summer signing is expected to start his career at the Club, but will join up with the first team this season.
Saha is confident that the 23-year-old will prove to be a successful signing for the club, as he is already one of the best young midfielders in the world.”
We have a great youth system and there’s a lot of talent there, which makes it a very exciting prospect.”
